Planet Zero Motorsports, LLC (PZM) is a New York City based company that focuses on innovative motorsports equipment and apparel. The company was born from the love for riding motorcycles and other motorsports.

The mission of PZM is to assure that everyone who participates in motorsports, consistently wear the apparel needed for maximum protection. PZM seeks to inspire ZERO FEAR, the refusal to be dominated by the barriers that fear creates. PZM captures this idea in both the design and styling of our apparel.

Kenya K Smith, the owner of PZM has 15 years of experience as a designer and architect, and 10 years of experience riding race motorcycles on the street and the race track. He is committed to riders wearing protective gear that can be worn with a trendsetting style. Kenya earned a degree in architecture from Howard University and a MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University

I am a Architect so I have a long career in design. I picked up fashion because of my love for motorcycles and riding them. My fashion line address the need for a combination in style and protection.

4 - WHAT INSPIRES YOU THE MOST IN FASHION?

I like to make people look cool and confident. I like for people to explore their individuality while wearing my brand and develop their own story. I like to be different and to question the status quo

3 - HOW DO YOU BALANCE CREATIVITY WITH COMMERCE?

No Balance I favor creativity...somebody will buy it. I hate that so many brands look exactly like the other. I looking forward to the day that cool clothes come back to NYC instead of mall stores populating every block.
