Mass Fallen Heroes First Fashion Show Featuring Lindsay Tia

“WHERE BRAVERY MEETS FASHION”

On May 24th, 2016 Lindsay Tia hosted the first annual Mass Fallen Heroes Fashion Show at Coppersmith in South Boston.

This event was well attended and very fun! I purchased a VIP ticket, unfortunately I wasn't informed by the front door staff that there was a separate VIP reception upstairs, so I don't have too much to report on that.

The venue is a converted warehouse with a nice outdoor patio. The front wall was lined with tables selling gorgeous Lindsay Tia merch. The main runway was at the end of the bar with picnic table style seating. There wasn't anyone to control or manage the VIP seating so I was glad that I arrived early because the space filled up quickly.

Prior to the start of the Fashion show Lindsay gave an emotional speech about the impact of Military heroes and fallen soldiers in her life. She detailed the importance of the Mass Fallen Heroes program and how she is using her brand and designs to give back.  Lindsay's intro was followed by a powerful rendition of the star spangled banner. There were a few issues with the sound system and there was a playback error with the video they were trying to show (it detailed the MFH program) The audience was unable to hear any of it. (If I get a copy of that video I will post here).

The fashions were fun flirty summer looks with a few large parachute dresses in camouflage inspired colors and prints. Several looks were paired with cute Lindsay Tia clutches in vibrant colors with patent leather and monogram details.

I would love to see this become a yearly event and possibly incorporate different designers or themes.
